GREEN-fingered Kinver residents will be opening their gardens to the public for the 20th time to raise funds for a good cause.

The Kinver Open Gardens event will take place throughout the village next weekend, June 27 and 28, between 1pm and 6pm.

Visitors can enjoy nine gardens, while refreshments as well as a plant sale will be taking place throughout the afternoon at St Peter's Church Hall, in Vicarage Drive.

Tickets are available from the Clock Tower, in High Street, costing £3 for adults and £1 for children.

Many charities have benefitted in the past from the previous open garden events, but all proceeds this year will go towards the Chernobyl Children’s Lifeline.
