A CHARITY dog walk is taking place later this month in aid of Kinver's Chernobyl Children's Lifeline.
The groups brings youngsters affected by the 1986 nuclear disaster over to the Black Country from Belarus each year for a four-week respite stay to help improve their health - but to fund the trips the Kinver Link of the Children's Lifeline charity must stage regular fundraisers.
The next will be a charity dog walk taking place on Saturday October 15.
Walkers can take part in group-led treks of four, five or six miles - starting at 1pm from the hub in Mary Stevens Park, off Stanley Road, Norton, Stourbridge.
There will be certificates and treats for all dogs upon completion.
Non dog walkers are also welcome to take part.
The entry cost is £5 for adults and free for accompanied children.
Places must be booked in advance. For more details or to book onto a walk call Lynn Bevan on 01384 824736 or 07948 796531.
