VICTORIA Wilson of The Conservative Party has been elected as Kinver’s new councillor on Staffordshire County Council – following the retirement of long-serving Brian Edwards.
She polled 2,217 votes – a whopping 64 per cent of the vote.
While independent candidate Seb Hargreaves notched up 457 votes, Christine Ridgeway for Labour polled 337, Gordon Fanthom picked up 266 votes for UKIP and Ian Sadler polled 166 for The Green Party.
