AN ongoing art exhibition celebrating the historic Kinver Edge and its Rock Houses has proved so popular that it has been extended for another month.
Kinver Community Library’s free exhibition, which coincides with the 100 year celebrations of the much-loved National Trust treasure, was originally only meant to be on display until the end of June, but will now continue throughout July.
Among the work featured in the display are examples of painting, pastel drawings, architectural paintings, textile work, model making and photography.
Marie Roberts, exhibition curator, said: “Many thanks to the local artists, crafts people and photographers who have kindly loaned their work to the library for this exhibition.
“It’s great to be able to play our part in celebrating this wonderful local landmark at such a special time in its history.”
