A HOST of seasonal entertainment will be laid on in Kinver this Saturday (December 2) as part of the national Small Business Saturday initiative.

Elvis Presley tribute singer Bev Jackson will be performing throughout the day.

Much of the entertainment will centre around the clock shelter where there will be performances by the Kinfayre Singers, folk singer Viv Bamber, St Peter’s Church Choir and ukulele tunes by members of the U3A group.

Members of Katie Collins School of Irish Dance will also be showcasing their dance steps.

There’s also a children’s bauble competition running in the village - with prizes up for grabs.

The competition, which started on Friday November 24, will run until 4pm on Saturday, with entry forms available in many village shops.

District councillor for Kinver Lin Hingley said: “Hopefully people will come and support our shops and enjoy the entertainment.”

Performance times by the clock shelter:

St Peter’s Church Choir - 10.30am

Folk finger Viv Bamber - 11am

U3A ukulele group - midday

Kinfayre Singers - 2pm

Katie Collins School of Irish Dance – 2.30pm.
