October we had a good turnout of members when we welcomed Rosemary Winnall to talk on “A garden for wildlife”. Rosemary lives quite close to Bewdley, on the edge of the Wyre Forest. She has a one acre garden, plus woodland and fields. She is a recorder for the forest, one of her specialities is fungi which have been abundant this year. Her garden is a haven for wildlife and she gives them every encouragement, making sure that she has plants or trees that bloom or fruit for every month of the year for the benefit of early insects, frogs, toads, newts, slow worms, various bees, insects and birds.
