ADULTS struggling with alcohol and drug addiction will now benefit from a new service based in Lye.

Dudley Council has commissioned CRI to run courses at Atlantic House, Dudley Road, to help people face their addictions and support them on the road to recovery.

The substance misuse treatment service was officially opened by Councillor Rachel Harris on November 19 and will provide medical and psychosocial support to those in need.

Services manager Kerry Trinder said: "We support people to achieve long lasting and far reaching change, supporting people to achieve recovery from addiction."

The service works in partnership with YMCA Wolverhampton and Summit House to provide additional support services, to integrate people into their communities, gain employment and a secure a home environment.

People can access the service by either self referring themselves by calling 01384 420126 or through their GP.
