PEOPLE of Lye are being urged to get involved with the local tenants and residents association by attending a coffee morning.

Love Claycroft Tenants and Residents Association (TRA) is hosting the coffee morning on Monday March 16 from 9am to 10.30am at Lye Community Centre, in Crosswalks Road.

People will have the opportunity to meet members and chat about any ideas and concerns they may have about the estate.

The TRA was set up in August 2014 and aims to make a positive impact upon the local area.

Dudley Councillor Gaye Partridge, cabinet member for housing and community safety, said: “This is a relatively new tenants and residents association which is really energising the area.

“This is the opportunity for anyone living in the Claycroft neighbourhood to help shape and develop housing services relevant to them.

“Anyone who comes along and have a cup of coffee and a biscuit while meeting members of the group and putting forward ideas of how the estate can be improved.”
