THE main Stourbridge to Lye road has now reopened after a crash involving a lorry left part of the busy route closed.
Stourbridge Road from its junction with Bagley Street to its junction with Dudley Road/Pedmore Road was temporarily closed to eastbound motorists and police were diverting traffic after a lorry hit the railway bridge on the A458.
But Richard Milburn, of Dudley’s Traffic Network Management, has just confirmed: “The obstruction has now been removed and the road is now open to traffic as normal.”
