A SERIES of storytelling session for all ages are set to be held at Lye Community Centre on the first Monday of each month.
The first session is on Monday (February 1) at 2.30pm and is about the corner shops of yesteryear, a feature of older towns in times gone by.
Monday's session will be hosted by Christine Squires, who is the centres new manager, while Councillor Gaye Partridge will be there to talk about the bakery, the offfie, the haberdashery and the other shops that were once such an important part of the local landscape.
There is a cup of tea and bread pudding on offer along with a chance to have a chat and catch up with friends and neighbours.
There is no need to book, and anyone who is interested can just turn up.
