A TWILIGHT event for residents of Stourbridge's Norton Green area is being organised by a local community group.
Norton Green Tenants and Residents’ Association (TRA) is hosting the free event on Monday, October 24, from 6pm at St Michael’s Church Centre, in Maynard Avenue.
As well as a twilight walk for local residents, the event will include firework safety sessions and family fun activities – and refreshments – throughout the evening, in support of Dudley Council’s ‘love your community’ campaign.
People taking part in the walk are being advised to dress sensibly and bring along a torch, while all children must be accompanied by an adult.
Councillor Gaye Partridge, cabinet member for housing, said: “We are proud to support more than 20 TRAs that are working hard in our local neighbourhoods to bring together people who want to improve the areas they live in and create stronger safer communities.
“This event is a great way to find out more about the TRA and be part of something positive.”
To book in advance – as places are limited – call Dudley Council’s participation development team on 01384 815168.
