PEOPLE keen to get fit this spring can try out a new exercise session at Mary Stevens Park in Stourbridge – starting tonight (Tuesday May 6).

A ‘slim fit’ course will run for ten weeks at the Norton park from Tuesday May 13, with a taster session taking place from 5.45pm to 6.45pm tonight.

Funded by public health, the sessions will be led by Dudley Council in conjunction with Primal Academy to help people increase their fitness levels and lose weight.

There will also be an optional weigh in, meal planning and nutritional advice and optional 30-minute circuit based physical activity sessions.

John Millar, Dudley’s director of urban environment, said: “These sessions will be a welcome addition to the already popular activities that are on offer in our parks.”
