A LARGE amount of equestrian equipment has been stolen from a riding school near Stourbridge.

The break-in happened at County Lane stables, Iverley, overnight between Thursday January 15 and Friday January 16.

A large amount of pony and full sized tack – including saddles and bridles - were stolen in the raid.

The items taken were: 12 leather saddles (eight synthetic), one saddle made from distinct black and tan leather - and two synthetic pony saddles featuring the pony club logo on the back.

All bridles were leather with martingales (neck straps) and bits of all different sizes.

Anyone with information about the burglary, or anyone offered such items for sale at a knockdown price, is urged to contact Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 103 of January 16.
