A Stourbridge paper boy is taking time off from his round to raise cash for a good cause.
James Gaskin, aged 13, will be setting off on Saturday August 5 to cycle more than 100 miles from Stourbridge to Aberdovey in Wales.
James said: "I have only ever cycled 65 miles before and found this really hard.
"I know that cycling from Stourbridge to Aberdovey will mean a long time in the saddle, approximately seven to eight hours in total.
"Obviously, I'm expecting several hills to climb along the way and I'm sure that by the end I will be truly shattered. I'm the lucky one though, as I am fit and active and so I wish to do something to help raise money for my chosen charity, Acorns children's Hospice Trust."
James has set himself the target of raising £500 for the hospice and has already scooped £350.
