In spite of the very cold weather there was quite a good attendance at the January meeting. Chairman Pauline Roberts welcomed the members and a visitor, Ruth Tuck.
Nominations for the committee are required before the AGM in March.
After the business meeting there followed a very interesting talk and slides on the Black Country Museum. The museum has many and varied buildings and is continually adding more attractions.
Raffle prizes were won by Betty Butler, who inceidently was celebrating her 80th birthday that day, and Margaret Fennell.
The competition for an old kitchen utensil was won by Pauline Roberts.
Visitors will be most welcome to our meetings held at Oldswinford Primary School in Field Lane at 7.30pm. The next meeting is on February 26.
