STOURBRIDGE’S Mary Stevens Hospice has added another shop to its expanding portfolio by opening a branch in Wordsley’s Lawnswood shopping precinct.
The new addition brings the total number of hospice shops across the borough to 17.
Business manager Simon Henwood confirmed: “The shops provide the hospice with a vital source of revenue with the income they generate.
“We have always been well supported in Wordsley for many years so when the opportunity arose for the hospice to extend its retail activities, we were pleased to explore it”.
The shop, which officially opened on Friday April 5, will include a secure donation bin at the rear of the premises for drop-off items when closed.
