Chairman Pauline Roberts welcomed everyone on November 19.

Margaret Fennell did not win the national Scrabble competition this year, but, as before, she received a certificate as she made the biggest score of the competition, in one round, 491 points.

The group bade a farewell to Audrey Bull, who was moving to a new home to be nearer to her family and this would be her last attendance at the Guild.

A list was on the notice board for members to put down their names should they wish to provide flowers for a meeting.

The speaker for the evening was John Billingham “Images of Worcestershire” covering a wide range of the county, from Broadway, the only part of the county in the Cotswolds. Margaret Fennell reported the fees would remain at £25 for the yea 2015/2016 despite headquarters increasing their fees.

The next meeting will be on January 20. Guests and new members are always welcome. The group meets at Oldswinford Primary School at 7.30pm.
