TWO Dudley borough sight specialist charities are teaming up to host one of the biggest dedicated exhibitions in the West Midlands.

Pocklington’s Sight and Health Fair, talking place at Brierley Hill Civic Hall, is being organised in conjunction with Sedgley-based Beacon.

The free event on Monday (September 21), between 10am and 4pm, will showcase the wide range of products and services available to help the visually impaired in the region.

Katie Jobling, head of charity operations for Beacon, said: “This superb event is ideal for anyone needing practical help and advice about sight loss, hearing problems or a wide range of other health issues.

“The variety of organisations represented at this exhibition makes it one of the biggest events of its type in the region.

“Local people will have the chance to see and try hundreds of innovative products, talk to specialists and learn more about the support offered in the West Midlands.”

Exhibitors attending the event include the Alzheimer’s Society, Dudley Citizens Advice Bureau, Vision Support and the Black Country Talking Newspaper.
