A REMEMBRANCE service for families of those who spent time in Stourbridge’s Mary Stevens Hospice before their death is being held in Oldswinford.
The hospice’s annual Midsummer Remembrance Service, which offers a time of reflection to families in the local community, will be held at St Mary’s Church on Wednesday, June 21.
Friends, family and loved ones are invited to attend the event where they can light a candle and spend the evening remembering those who are sadly no longer with us.
The evening will also feature readings and music performed by the hospice’s own choir.
Marie Faux, bereavement support co-ordinator at Mary Stevens Hospice, said: “Remembering those we have loved is a very important part of grieving.
“At Mary Stevens Hospice Midsummer Remembrance Service, we offer a special celebration to give thanks for those memories and support each other through difficult times.”
For more information about the service, which will begin at the Rectory Road church at 7pm, call 01384 443010.
