PUPILS at Pedmore Technology College and Community School have been pulling out all the stops to raise money for Sunfield School in Clent.
Youngsters have staged staged raffles, held video games, sold cakes, ice cream and milkshakes to raise more than £1,200 for the special school in Woodman Lane.
They even persuaded two staff members to have a public body wax performed by Stourbridge College students to help boost funds.
It’s not the first time pupils have selected Sunfield as their chosen charity and headteacher Gareth Lloyd hinted their ‘Sunfield Sunshine Week’ could well become an annual event at Pedmore.
As a result of their fundraising, some of the pupils will visit Sunfield to learn more about the school and the work it undertakes.
