A WILDFLOWER meadow will be at the centre of a Quarry Bank Park community event.
Families are invited join in the fun at Wildlife in the Wildflowers, which takes place at the park, off Thorns Road on Tuesday July 30.
Wardens from Netherton’s Saltwells Local Nature Reserve will lead activities and exploration of the new wildflower meadow area from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
People are also invited to take along a picnic and enjoy the surroundings of the park during the afternoon.
Councillor Tracy Wood, Dudley’s cabinet member for environment and culture, said: “The addition of the meadow area is just part of a number of further developments at the park. The council countryside staff and the Friends of Quarry Bank Park are working closely together on these enhancements.”
To book a place call Alan Preece, Saltwells senior warden, on 07920 235036.
