BLACK Country band Of Kings and Captains will be playing an acoustic set with a difference to launch their new single.

Singer Luke Wassell from Quarry Bank, guitarist Josh Lomas from Dudley, drummer Keiran Lock from Quarry Bank and bassist Dean Greatbach from Blackheath, who supported Bon Jovi on their UK tour last year, will be taking to the road and performing on a beer bus to launch the new ditty Takes All Night.

Band member Josh said: “We wanted to something different for our single launch so Enville Ales provided us with a beer bus which we will be performing on in between pub stops. It’s great to see a local brewer supporting live music in local pubs.”

The bus party, which will set out from Merry Hill - finishing the night at Katie Fitzgerald’s in Stourbridge, is an invite-only outing.

But Of Kings and Captains fans unable to get tickets will be able to catch the popular pop rockers when they headline at Katiesfest at their favourite haunt - Katie Fitzgeralds, Enville Street, on Sunday May 4.

The single will be officially released on Monday April 28 but has already found its way onto national play lists including Absolute Radio’s and The Bauer Network’s In:Demand Scotland.
