STOURBRIDGE got into the Christmas spirit with a street party to celebrate the official festive lights switch on.
Dudley Mayor, Cllr Melvyn Mottram, was on hand to throw the switch to turn on the display in the High Street shopping area.
Other attractions at the event, on Saturday December 1, included live music, an extended farmers' market and a visit from Santa and his reindeer.
Kinver was full on Friday November 30 when crowds hit the High Street to celebrate the start of Christmas with the switching on of the village’s Big Tree by Gavin Williamson MP and Santa.
Choir Got2Sing performed at the event, which marked the start of the festive season in the village, another late night shopping evening is planned for Friday December 14.
