The Dudley and Stourbridge Branch of the National Federation of Occupational Pensioners held their meeting on a very stormy February 12, and our chairman sincerely thanked Patricia Boyd for travelling to speak to us in such weather. Her topic was “What the bride wore”.

The secretary then urged members to sign up for the “Anddor” lunch, to be enjoyed in the hall before the March meeting, and also for our first outing of the season on April 30 to The Mill at Alveley.

We enjoyed a hot cup of tea and biscuits before venturing home in the wind and rain. Anyone is welcome to join our meetings at St Thomas’ Church hall, Market Street, Stourbridge, on the second Wednesday of the month from 2pm until 4pm. At the April 9 meeting there will be entertainment from The Haven Singers.
