STOURBRIDGE Football Club will be keeping their fingers crossed for a bumper crowd this Saturday against Curzon Ashton as the game coincides with their annual community day.

The Glassboys will mark the occasion with a visit from Stourbridge MP Margot James who will officially open their refurbished state-of-the-art changing facilities.

Work has seen the dressing rooms upgraded to Football Conference standards while improvements have also been made to the manager's office, physio and rest room plus laundry and kit room. There's even a room specifically for women officials.

Work has been made possible following a £50,000 grant from the Football Association.

The club also hope to have representatives from the NHS, Fire, Police and other local services at the game while there will also be additional entertainment including a bouncy castle and stalls.

General manager Andy Bullingham said: "We've slashed the prices for this game as we want as many people as possible to attend and we know how expensive going to football games it can be."

Kick-off is at 3pm.
