A WOMAN has been left distraught after the car her father bought her before he died was stolen from a Stourbridge garage.
Gemma Forrest had taken her Peugeot 308 GT to the Evans Halshaw dealership, on Hagley Road, for a clutch repair and MOT.
But she was horrified when she was told the silver car had been stolen from the garage on Thursday (December 11).
She said: "It's a very expensive car, which my father bought for me before he passed away last year.
“He died very suddenly from cancer, a matter of weeks after diagnosis.
"It has really upset me that the car has gone because it's the last memory I have of him."
The mum-of-one added: "If anyone can help me find it, I would be so grateful."
A West Midlands Police spokesman confirmed the car had been stolen from the garage and an investigation was ongoing.
An Evans Halshaw representative declined to comment.
