A NEW nail and beauty salon has been launched in Stourbridge.

The Nail Lounge, a venture from former bank worker Loretta Walker, of Stourport, was opened in Church Street by the town’s Conservative parliamentary candidate, Margot James.

Loretta said: “Business has been amazing and I’m nearly fully booked for the next four weeks.

“I’ve had loads of interest from local businesses and people popping their heads in. From what I've been told from clients I have created a relaxing and comfortable environment for their treatments.

“Margot was lovely, so friendly and bubbly, and she was very excited and interested to find out my plans to take on apprenticeships.

“I hope she comes back to have a nail treatment done!”

Loretta is also an educator for nail manufacturer OPI and the salon will become the only OPI training academy within the West Midlands.

She said: “The training area is lovely and I'm very excited about holding my first course here on May 6.

“We had a great turn out at the opening of the salon and I couldn't be happier. There are a few parts that need sine tuning but I absolutely love it.

A website for the salon is in the process of being launched and it will also feature in June’s issue of the Professional Beauty Magazine.
