MORE than 300 scouts took part in an annual Stourbridge St George’s Day event at the weekend.
The event kicked off with a parade to the park from the TA Centre, in Swinford Road, led by the 451 (Stourbridge) Squadron Air Training Cadet Band.
Then in the park, Stourbridge and District Scouts demonstrated woogle making and bush craft skills; there was also face painting, live music, a zip wire and climbing walls - and members of West Midlands Police and Fire Service also attended.
The event also offered youngsters and adults interested in volunteering chance to find out more about scouting.
