HELP is on hand for people from across Dudley who are worried about Prostate Cancer.
Orchid’s Prostate Cancer Awareness Roadshow is coming to Stourbridge on Monday, May 11 and Tuesday, May 12, providing people with information, advice and support.
The roadshow will be at Foster Street, in the town centre, from 9am until 5pm on both days and is available for anyone.
Rob Cornes, Orchid male cancer information nurse specialist, said: “Getting an early diagnosis is vital.
“It is crucial that men are familiar with the signs and symptoms and feel comfortable seeking professional advice if they have any concerns or worrying symptoms, particularly men from African and Caribbean communities.
“We really hope that men across the borough will take the opportunity to come to the roadshow to meet the Orchid team.”
Orchid is a charity which works in the area of male-specific cancers and funded by the Office of Public Health at Dudley Council.
A specialist will be on hand at the roadshow to offer free information, advice on how to check for the signs of prostate cancer, information on the Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) test and how to reduce risk.
