The next film On June 20 at 7.30pm, is Fed Up showing everything we thought we knew about food and weight loss, revealing a 30-year campaign by the food industry.
The group meets at the Quaker Meeting House, 37 Scotts Road, Stourbridge.
This no-frills documentary tells it like it is about obesity – and it’s not a pretty picture. Since 1980, sugar intake has doubled, there is an epidemic of Type II diabetes and overweight children have ascended from the exception to the norm.
All welcome. There will be refreshments and entry by donation.
