A STREET collection held in Stourbridge raised £146.21 to help working animals abroad.
Shirley Waldeck and Jenny Porter, who are long-time supporters of the Society for the Protection of Animals Abroad (SPANA) carried out the collection in the town centre on January 2.
The cash will go towards SPANA's work to provide free veterinary care across Africa and the Middle East and teach children and animals how to make sure that working animals are healthy and happy.
