Stourbridge Ladies Society
The meeting on April 26 was chaired by Mildred Hall who welcomed 36 members and one visitor. In honour of the Queen's 90th birthday, tables were decorated with a red, white and blue theme, Doreen Cooke proposed the royal toast and we all raised a glass to Her Majesty. Unfortunately the speaker was unable to attend so the afternoon was given over to a quiz on high street shops.
The next meeting is on May 31. This will be an afternoon of musical entertainment with guitarist Brian Jones.
