ONE of Stourbridge’s main roads is set to close once again this week to complete work undertaken to repair a ‘dangerous’ manhole cover.
Motorists have been warned to expect disruption as the slip road between Stourbridge Ring Road and the Hagley Road (A491) is being shut on Sunday (May 15).
Only affecting those travelling southbound away from Stourbridge town centre, the closure will take place between 8am and 10pm to re-instate the red antiskid paint after Dudley Council carried out work last weekend to repair the sunken and loose manhole cover.
An alternative route for southbound traffic will be along New Road, Worcester Street and Heath Lane before venturing onto Hagley Road.
