STOURBRIDGE has been named as one of Britain’s luckiest towns and cities, according to research by a top privately-owned online bingo and casino brand.
Halesowen based mFortune has created its own League of Luck listing the UK’s luckiest places to live - as Friday the 13th nears.
Compiled from data from its 1.5 million players, the firm's list reveals towns and cities where residents are most likely to scoop a win - and Stourbridge comes in at number 17.
Leeds tops the League of Luck, followed by Birmingham in second place and Manchester in third.
mFortune crunched its database of figures from the last three years to reveal the average monthly number of wins of its players - and in lucky Leeds players win on average 304 times a month, while in Stourbridge they win on average 264 times a month.
