AGE Concern Stourbridge and Halesowen are on the hunt for new faces who would like to be part of the group and summer fair stall holders.

The organisation’s annual family fun day is being held on Saturday, June 25, from 11am at Mary Steven’s Day Centre – based at the rear of the main hospice – in Hagley Road.

However, the committee running the event are looking at local crafts people, entrepreneurs and charities who would like to rent a table for £10 per pitch.

A classic car show, a fun dog show, welly wanging, face painting, bouncy castle and faggot flinging will also feature at the show.

The group is also looking for new members to join in with their daily schedule of activities at their Elton Centre base.

Located behind St John’s Church in Stourbridge, the centre hosts drop-in classes in art, bowls, sequence dancing, whist and yoga.

Visitors do not need to be members to take part in the activities, all of which cost £4, and do not have to commit to attending each week.

Anyone interested in renting a table at the summer fair should call Joe on 01384 390065, or Margaret on 01384 395534.

For more information about taking part in classes at the centre, or full the full daily schedule, visit the centre or call 01384 390065.
