A CAR crashed into the front of a bungalow in Norton this morning (Thursday, July 21).

Emergency services were called to Teme Road at about 10.21am where they found the car stuck under the bay window of the house.

An elderly man received initial first aid from fire service crews which had attended from Stourbridge and Brierley Hill Fire Stations.

The man, who was uninjured, also received a precautionary check-up from ambulance service personnel before being left in the care of relatives.

The car has since been removed from the bungalow using a winch and fire crews have been liaising with a structural engineer from Dudley Council to make the building safe.

West Midlands Police were also on the scene.
