A POPULAR Stourbridge vintage fair is heading back to one of the iconic venues of the town as it pops up at the Ruskin Glass Centre this weekend.

On Sunday (October 2), the established Kiki & Honey Vintage Fair returns to Amblecote, with the duo behind the regular event, Ella Gardiner and Maria Kaye, teaming up with three local businesses from Stourbridge town centre.

Among the stalls, which will cater for ladies, gents and children, are a variety of vintage clothing traders as well as handmade, unique and retro-styled clothes and hats by talented seamstresses.

There will also be jewellery, homewares, books, comics, plus music for sale too from Henry and his fellow vinyl record traders in the ‘Records Room’.

Clever crafters will have all manner of unique creations on display, perfect for stocking up with for Christmas gifts, while hungry shoppers will be catered for by the team from the recently expanded Chemistry Cafe (formerly the Coffee Collective) who are bringing along home-cooked food and cakes and serving hot drinks at the fair.

Scary Canary, also a popular point-of-call for Stourbridge locals, will be providing a pop-up bar and soft drinks, with Lemon Squeezy, the craft hub in the town centre, will be among the workshops in the fair’s ‘Craft Lounge’.

Visitors at the event can try their hand at knitting, crochet and pompom-making, and there will also be children’s craft sessions.

Maria Kaye, also known as Kiki, said: “We always have a great range of friendly stallholders at each fair, and we are really happy to link up with our friends from Stourbridge High Street too for this event.

“They are all local independent businesses, helping give the town its individual flavour, which we think is vital.

“We really want to encourage and support what they do and showcase what they offer at our fair.”

Entry into the fair, which takes place at the Wollaston Road centre between 11am and 4pm, costs £1 for adults. For more information email kikiandhineyretroandvintage@gmail.com
