A TRIO of top Stourbridge artists are set to host a night of music to help a charity which supports local musicians.

Ben Smith, Ian Parker and Gerry Riley will be raising money for the Stourbridge Foundation 4 Music at their gig on Friday (November 18) at Wollaston venue Katie Fitzgerald’s.

More than £2,000 has been handed over to various Stourbridge musicians since the charity was launched, helping to pay for the artist’s development.

Eddy Morton, a musician himself and head of the charity, said: “We are so pleased to announce three truly great Stourbridge artists in support of the foundation.

“This is our own charity that raises and distributes money to musicians, money raised BY musicians for that very purpose.

“I'm sure many of us as artists can tire of constantly being asked to support various causes, so this is a chance for you to give something back to yourselves.

“Anyone can apply to us for help and though we can’t help everyone we can guarantee to try and the more that support and get involved the more we can help.

“Please come along and join us and also support a great night of music from three fantastic performers.”

Doors open at the Enville Street pub at 8pm, while admission costs £5.
