CHILDREN of all ages can take part in the fun and games which will be on offer at Stourbridge’s Crystal Leisure Centre during half term.

The Bell Street venue will be hosting a jam packed week of fun from Monday, February 20, to Sunday, February 26.

The swimming pool, complete with slides, waves, bubble seat and rapids is open every day, with a bondi-beat water disco taking place on the Friday (February 24) from 3.30pm to 6pm.

Trampolining sessions are being run for children aged five to 15 from 10am to 11am and 11am to noon on the Tuesday (February 21). Classes cost £6 per session and must be booked in advance.

An hour-long trampolining session for tots under five will also run at 9am on the same day for £5 per child. Although parents must stay with their child for this session.

Youngsters aged seven and under can crawl, step, or run their way around the soft play suite throughout the week, where qualified staff supervise the area. Entrance costs £2.50 per child and parents, who must stay with their child, are asked to check opening times before their visit.

Councillor Khurshid Ahmed, cabinet member responsible for leisure centres, said: “We know how difficult it can be to keep youngsters occupied during the school holiday and that’s why we offer a range of fun activities at Crystal Leisure Centre.

“Annual junior membership which includes swimming, gym access, squash and badminton courts and fitness classes is currently on offer for just £100 until the end of January so don’t miss out.”

Pre-booking at reception is recommended for all school holiday activities.
