THE popular Street Food Affair that has been drawing crowds to the Stourbridge canalside throughout the summer is back this Friday (September 29).

Organisers of the mini festival style event, held in Canal Street, had to postpone their last evening bash of the summer, which was due to take place in September 1, due to unforeseen circumstances.

Sarah New, however, said she was determined to sneak in another event this month ahead of their Christmas bash on Saturday December 9 - and it is all set to go ahead tomorrow (Friday) from 5pm to 9pm.

She said: "We are looking forward to bringing the community together one more time as we leave summer behind. We can promise another amazing night of food, drink and entertainment from local musicians and unique finds at the twilight market.

"We have exciting new food vendors joining us for the first time including Mrs Patel's authentic and unique Indian barbecue food and the chefs from CJW Smoking will be cooking low and slow in their Texas Style BBQ Smokehouse. All this in addition to regulars such as Green Vegan.

"New comers Wychelm Craft Cider, will be joining our regular cider, cocktail and prosecco bars and Saddlers and Fixed Wheel Brewery Companies make a repeat performance."

There will also be performances from a host of musicians throughout the evening - kicking off with Esther Turner at 5.30pm.
