SINGERS across Stourbridge are invited to St Thomas’s Church to join in with a public performance of Handel’s Messiah on Saturday (October 7).
The church in Market Street is hosting the event to help raise money for repairs to the church organ.
Stourbridge tenor Nathan Vale and countertenor William Towers be giving up their time for free to sing at the event which will take place at 6.30pm following an early rehearsal starting at 2pm.
Anyone keen to take part is invited to register their interest by emailing stthomas.stourbridge@btinternet.com It costs £5 to take part and £6 to watch the performance.
A further musical fundraising event will also take place on Saturday October 21 and will feature nine-piece soul band The Soul Providers.
