MIDLANDS football legends will be in Stourbridge for a charity football match in aid of Mary Stevens Hospice.

The War Memorial Ground, Amblecote, will host Stourbridge Old Boys versus West Bromwich Albion Legends on Sunday April 8.

Former player and current WBA first team coach Darren Moore will be joined by a host of Baggies icons. Former Scotland international and Albion captain Nigel Quashie, 90’s promotion-hero Ian Hamilton and Daryl Burgess, who made over 300 appearances for the club, will all be playing.

This is the third annual Jane Webb Memorial Trophy match, named in honour of the hospice supporter who inspired the game.

The event has raised over £40,000 in previous years and over 3,000 people watched last year's match, a 6-4 win for West Brom.

The game is organised by the hospice along with former Stourbridge footballer Matt Webb and West Brom goalkeeping coach Mark Naylor.

Tickets cost £10 and are free for under 15s. Kick-off is at 2.30pm.
