A great meeting was held once again on Tuesday April 9 at Wall Heath Community Centre.

It appears that the guild is becoming very popular with attendances increasing. The cost of membership being very affordable.

Those wishing to visit will find the time and venue within this report. The list of speakers is carefully selected.

The speaker for the evening was Dr Murray Mylecrest who had travelled from Worcester to talk to the group. His topic was sugar and spice and all things nice.

He began by talking about sugar beet and varied the topic with discussion on the commercial use of plants and flowers herbs and touching on the subject of some flowers being edible. Linda Hickman gave the vote of thanks.

At the next meeting on Tuesday May 7 at 7.30pm there will be a plant sale, a short cookery demonstration by Bridget Bradley followed by a fish and chip supper.

The chairman Amanda Ridney discussed the forthcoming trip to Trentham Gardens in July and the forthcoming annual show on Saturday September 14 at 2.15pm.
