Plans are going ahead for The Annual Wall Heath Horticultural and Flower Show on Saturday September 13 at 2.30pm.

The monthly meetings are held in The Wall Heath Community Centre in Enville Rd on each first Tuesday in the month at 7.30pm.

The guild is a vibrant group. To join is to pay a small subscription and be at least happy to learn about plants and gardening in very understood terms.

There are always refreshments available and a raffle prize at the end of each meeting The speaker invited for the June meeting was Justin Harrison who travelled from Burton on Trent. A first class speaker who gave a very exciting talk on plants and flowers.

Justin had an enraptured audience.

He brought along with him several varieties of exciting plants and shrubs,He demonstrated the art of joining plants which would look well together.

Totally intent that he would have conveyed very beautiful colour schemes and unlikely ideas of how glorious the enhancement of doing so. Importantly his speaking voice was clear . A very good and exciting speaker.

Many new members are coming along and enjoying a nice evening, Amanda Ridney the Chair Personnow has forms available for those who might wish to enter the show.

Come along and enter, Included on the form are suggestions for a children’s section. A cookery section, flowers and vegetables and many other items.
