WALL Heath Watercolour Painting Club will be holding its second annual exhibition this weekend.

The event will be staged at Wall Heath Scout Hut at the back of Wall Heath Community Centre, Enville Road, on Saturday October 27 and Sunday October 28 from 10.30am to 4pm both days.

Seasoned watercolour artist Malcolm Wesson will be showcasing his painting skills on both days and one of his pieces will be raffled off to raise funds for the club.

He said: “This will be only the second exhibition that the club has held having been encouraged by a splendid attendance at the first exhibition last year.”

The event will also feature a best in show competition, to be judged by the public; and paintings will be available to buy.

Going since 2007, the club meets at the scout hut on Tuesday mornings from 10am until noon during the autumn, winter and spring.

Mr Wesson runs workshops to demonstrate various watercolour techniques each term and occasionally days out are arranged.

Refreshments will be available at the exhibition. Entry is free.
