A KINGSWINFORD woman is on a mission to raise funds for Dementia UK.
Emma Weaver has called on local bands to perform at the Music 4 Dementia gig on Friday (October 3) and hopes to raise £300.
It is a cause close to 24-year-old's heart as her grandfather, Bob Noctor, suffered with the condition.
Emma, a marketing executive, said: "In August my grandad passed away, which has made me more determined to raise lots of money to help others that suffer from the illness."
Worcester band Heroes of Hanoi will take to the stage at Katie Fitzgerald's, Wollaston, supported by I Am A Scary Monster and Done By Sunrise, to entertain the crowd from 8pm.
Tickets cost £3 and there will also be a raffle.
Anyone who would like to donate a raffle prize or buy a ticket should email emma_weaver@live.co.uk.
