There is talk from Federation of a suggested trip to Liverpool next year and we await details of this.

It appears that Federation wish to increase membership fees which is likely to mean a change in our membership fees. This likely increase was put to members for their opinions, and resulted in some lively and interesting comments. However the final decision regarding fees for next year will be made by the chairman and treasurer.

The speaker for the evening was Ms J Smith who gave an interesting talk on Nova Chocolates. While passing around small samples of different chocolate, she gave an insight into the background behind the introduction of this product.

Secretary Sue Ward had a go at making a chocolate lollipop and made a good job of it. We were informed that chocolate can assist with certain health problems, in moderation of course.
