FOLLOWING previous success at the Old Rep Theatre, a Stourbridge teen has once again been cast as the leading lady in an upcoming production.

Talulla Wheatley will take to the Birmingham theatre’s stage later this month to perform in Birmingham Ormiston Academy’s musical ‘The Witches of Eastwick’.

The 18-year-old will perform alongside close friend and fellow former Ridgewood High School pupil Jack Sanders.

While at the Wollaston school, Jack – a child star who previously starred in the feature film ‘Horrid Henry’ – and Talulla starred together in a production of ‘High School Musical’.

Both have since excelled at musical theatre school, and while Jack is considering several places offered at universities, Talulla is taking a gap year to pursue her television and singing career, where she has won national awards.

The Old Rep Theatre production of Witches of Eastwick is based on the original musical by John Dempsey and Dana P Rowe, which was first presented on the London Stage by Cameron Mackintosh.

Tickets, priced £10 for adults and £9 for concessions, are still available for the 7pm performances on Friday, March 18 and Saturday, March 19, by visiting www.oldreptheatre.org.uk
