WOLLASTON fundraisers have thanked all those who joined in their Macmillan Coffee Morning and helped to raise £538.31.
Sue McDowall and Sheila Wrigley held the event as part of the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning at Wollaston Methodist Church Hall in Cobden Street on October 1.
Sheila said: "We are very grateful to those people who braved the elements to support us.
"Every cup of coffee or tea drunk, every cake or biscuit purchased and every donation received helped us raise this money."
The pair also thanked shopkeepers in Wollaston village for allowing them to put up posters in their windows.
All proceeds from the event will help Macmillan Cancer Support to continue its work providing support for cancer patients and their families - and campaigning for better cancer care.
