A WOLLASTON man has been charged with theft offences in Wombourne, including the taking of a poppy charity box.
Kevin Waldron, of Norfolk Road, was charged with the theft of a poppy charity box form Bromleys Butchers, Common Road, Wombourne, on November 9.
He was also charged with attempted theft of a poppy charity box from the Co-op store, Common Road, Wombourne, also on November 9, and theft of food valued at £125.50 from the Spar store, Windmill Bank, Wombourne, on August 30.
Waldron, aged 35, was granted conditional bail and must not enter Common Road and Windmill Bank, Wombourne, until his court appearance, which is scheduled for December 1 at Cannock Magistrates Court.
